Free Double Down — When Do You Get It?
When you Double Down on Hard 9, Hard 10, or Hard 11, the casino covers the extra bet (via a "Free" token). If you win, you receive double your original bet. If you lose, you only lose your original bet — the Free token goes back to the casino.
For any other hand value (Hard 8, Hard 12, Soft hands), a Double Down requires placing an extra bet from your own pocket — this is a Paid Double.
Free Split — When Do You Get It?
Split any pair (4-4, 7-7, 8-8, 10-10, etc.) for free. Splitting Aces gives you only one card per Ace — that's the standard rule. Free Double Down is still available on hands received after a Split.

Push 22 — What Is This Rule and Why Does It Matter?
In standard blackjack, when the dealer busts on 22 or more, all players win. In Free Bet Blackjack, however, if the dealer busts on exactly 22, the result is a Push — no one wins, no one loses, and bets are returned.
Why Does Push 22 Exist? This rule is what allows the casino to offer Free Split and Free Double Down. Mathematically, the advantage of the Free Bet and the disadvantage of the Push 22 nearly cancel each other out — keeping the game fair for both sides. Note that if the dealer busts with 23, 24, or higher, you still win as normal.
